A New Platform for Ocean Leadership

Nor-Shipping and TradeWinds have joined forces to launch Oslo Ocean Days, a new high-level leadership forum for the ocean industries, which will take place in Oslo city centre on 9–10 September 2026.

The event will bring together industry leaders, investors and policymakers around fast-moving topics shaping the ocean industries, while providing a setting for insight, dialogue and networking with peers.

Oslo Ocean Days is designed to complement Nor-Shipping and expand the conversation to additional ocean industries. It is structured as a leadership forum, partner platform and networking event built on agenda-setting discussions. The event will be held every two years in one of the most important maritime cities in the world.

In respect of H.M. King Harald V.

We recognise the significance of His Majesty King Harald V’s funeral for Norway and the Royal Family. Our thoughts are with the Royal Family, the Royal Household and the people of Norway at this difficult time.

The funeral of His Majesty King Harald V has been scheduled for the same day as the main conference. We aim to conduct the conference with the appropriate respect and sensitivity, and have therefore made some adjustments to the programme. A live broadcast of the funeral proceedings will be available at the venue, with time for attendees and speakers to pay their respects. The national minute of silence will also be appropriately observed.

The 2026 Edition

Hosted across selected venues in Oslo city centre, the programme will combine a curated conference agenda with networking events, a regatta and a gala dinner at the Oslo Opera House.

The 2026 edition will place a particular emphasis on maritime and shipping topics, reflecting the current developments shaping the sector. Final programme details, venues and website will be announced in due course.
